Le verre trempé Tempered glass
Pour tremper un verre, on créé un choc thermique. Le verre passe de glass is tempered through a heat treatment process.
700 °C à 20 °C. Ce procédé renforce :
The glass goes from 700 °C to 20 °C. The process increases :
- sa résistance aux chocs mécaniques (stockage, lavage...)
- mechanical shock resistance (storage, washing, etc).
- sa résistance à la chaleur (adapté au micro-ondes).
- heat resistance (suitable for microwaves).
- la sécurité : en cas de casse, les morceaux sont moins coupants (pas
de pointe acérée). - safety: if broken, the pieces are less sharp (no shards).
- sa durée de vie de 10 à 30 fois supérieure au verre non trempé. - 10 to 30 times longer lifetime than untempered glass.
